Nobody likes going to the grocery store. Especially right now. That’s why extending the life of the food you already have is so important. These tips will help you get more out of your fruits and veggies.
Even though shopping has changed, our dietary guidelines haven’t. We still need to eat more fruits and vegetables. But it seems like they simply don’t last. Last night I was at a meeting with several dynamic speakers. One is a 3-time cancer survivor pharmacologist, another a neuroscientist and another layperson, like me, with a passion for helping others. Before I elaborate, in case you don’t know, oxidative stress is the root cause of over 200 diseases. Knowing that you NEED to reduce your oxidative stress if you want to live longer and minimize the risk of getting most diseases. As a project manager, communication is ranked as one of the key skills required to be successful. In an average day, you are updated stakeholders on the project and you are not always delivering good news. I find that having a positive attitude is critical. If you are managing a difficult project, it’s not always that easy to have a positive attitude. I find it super helpful if I “level set” my mind by starting my day with affirmations.

With stress and fatigue on the rise, having more focus and mental energy has never been more important.
In America, stress and fatigue have become so commonplace that, for many, both have become a sort of second language. The pattern is all too familiar. We load our life plates up with work tasks, life goals, family obligations, and throw in the day-to-day tasks that come with being a responsible human adult, and we end up with very little time to decompress.

Knowing how to maintain a healthy gut starts by knowing what can offset it. As self-quarantines and shelter in place laws spread across the world, people are showing us that we can still accomplish a lot – even when space is limited.
As coronavirus spread across Northern Italy several weeks ago, Italians took to their homes to contain the spread. They also took to social media, challenging themselves to push their minds and bodies to new limits, even in limited space. As more countries began following suit, the trend caught on. Right now, it’s hard to go on social media without seeing friends posting their own home workout challenges.
